Uses

Flexeril (Cyclobenzaprine) is used for short-term treatment of muscle spasms. It is usually used with comfort and physical therapy. It works by helping muscles relax.

How to use Flexeril tablet

Take this medicine, directed by your doctor of mouth or without food, usually take 3 times a day.
Dosage is based on your medical condition and treatment response. As long as your doctor is not directed, this medicine should only be used for short-term (3 weeks or less). Do not increase your dose or use this drug more often than prescribed. There will be no improvement in your situation, and the risk of your side effects will increase.
Tell your doctor if your condition persists after 2 to 3 weeks or if it worsens.

Side Effects

Feeling drowsiness, dizziness, dry mouth, constipation or fatigue can occur. If any of these effects persists or worsens, tell your doctor or pharmacist immediately.
Remember that your doctor has prescribed Flexeril because he or she has decided that your benefit is higher than the risk of side effects. Many people using this drug do not have serious side effects.
Tell your doctor immediately if you have a serious side effect, including: fast / irregular heartbeat, changes in mental / mood (eg delusions, hallucinations), difficulty in urinating
A very serious allergic reaction to this drug is rare. However, if you see symptoms of a serious allergic reaction, get medical help immediately, including: granular, itching / swelling (especially the face / tongue / throat), severe dizziness, shortness of breath
